The second edition of Dancing Partners started in Barcelona with performances in L’Estruch in Sabadell and the SAT! in Barcelona with workshops for professionals, students and including those who had never taken a step of dance in their lives!
The performance program included Chamaleon dancing the duet “Hands Down” with the choreographer himself, Anthony Missen accompanied by Riccardo Menighini. Norrdans presented “The Little Prince” by the Danish choreographer Tina Tarpgaard to music specially composed by Daniel Nelson and Thomas Noone Dance printed Until the End created especially for the occasion. Spellbound performe “Small Crime” a duet made by company director Mauro Astolfi.

The other activities –
In L’Estruch in Sabadell Spellbound lead aworkshop with local schools in the morning and in the afternoon Thomas Noone gave a workshop to people without any dance experience, curious to know a little more about contemporary dance.
In Barcelona Chameleon lead an engaging workshop with a local school promoting not only the physical activity of dancing but also looking to stimulate creativity and critical awareness.
The shows in the SAT! were accompanied as always by post-show events, on the friday the screening of a series of short dance films in the foyer and on Saturday a chance to talk to the dancers and directors of the Dancing Partners.
